Mrs Mistleton the Victorian teacher and housekeeper will show you the ropes of working in a Victorian manor house, from grooming the horses in the stables to using a mangle to dry clothing in the washroom.

She’ll introduce you to the clothing and a set of authentic Victorian toys for the rich children living in the manor, as well as some fantastic Victorian technology. Just don’t shuffle or chatter too much, or you might be unlucky enough to experience the darker side of Victorian education!

Grett the Iron Age woman is set on causing mischief in your school! Pupils will excavate real artefacts themselves before imagining their life in the Stone, Bronze and Iron Age - and curating a museum with their findings.

Led by the imperious Priestess of Amon-Ra, the class will discover myths and legends from cities and villages along the Nile and create dramatic retellings of these ancient stories. They will then work together to create their very own Egyptian myth and unearth real Egyptian treasures.

Led by Senecia, the wife of a Roman Governor, children will be conscripted to don full lorica segmentata armour and become Romano-British citizens themselves, engaging with everyday tasks from three distinct levels of society, from jewellery and mosaic making to spinning and weaving.
