Brave Words Young Writers
We’re really excited to be setting up a brand new group for young writers! The group will be run by Artistic Director Chris, and all members of the maxis groups can audition to join. The first session will be happening 6-8pm on Tuesday 12th November at our office at Northlight Arts Centre. Just like all our other groups - it will be pay-what-you-can and we will be able to support travel. It's a group where you'll have space and time to work on your own writing, learn story structure, poetic techniques, character creation, share feedback with each other, develop your work and create pieces together.
If you’re interested, we’d like to see some of your writing! This could be any kind of writing - poetry, plays, film scripts, stories, lyrics - the important thing is that it’s something you’re proud of, and something that represents you and your voice!
Use the form below to send us a maximum of 5 pages of your writing before the 1st of November, and we’ll be in touch shortly after that date. If you have any problems with using the form, you can submit a physical copy of your writing to your youth theatre leader :)
