Dungeons and away days

Looking for a new social event? Want to make your next team away day unique? Our Dungeons and Away Days provides your very own role-playing experience for you and your team - themed around the industry you work. We provide everything you need - and no experience is necessary to play!

how it works

We meet with you first to design your bespoke campaign. We choose a setting and design characters based on your business, your customers and the challenges your team face every day. Your team pair up and take on one of the characters, making all the decisions and dices rolls you’d expect as they explore, puzzle and battle monsters, villains and - occasionally - dragons.

It’s a great way to get your team thinking about things from a new perspective, bonding and collaborating as a team - or just embracing the ridiculous situations and laughter that emerge all of the time in a tabletop role playing game!

example adventures

DEfend the vineyard

Working with natural wine bar Hoc Loco, we created a one-shot campaign where players were tasked with defending a vineyard (based on Knotfield Vines in Rawdon!) from an invasion of stuffy, old-fashioned wine Snoblins.

They fought against goblins as they tried to torch the vineyard to preserve the world of “Old Wine”. They puzzled their way out of a cellar slowly filling up with wine. For the finale - they defeated the head Wine Snoblin himself - Sauv Blank - riding atop his pet ogre, New Zealand.

Characters included: Sir Noble Rot (the perpetually drunk paladin), Maz Serration (lethal rogue), Petillant Naturale (floaty, hippy druid) and Glou-Glou (the lean, mean, green, wine-glugging machine)

Dungeons & dog owners

Focus Dog Training approached us to design an adventure for their spicy social event - themed around being the owner of a reactive dog. We couldn’t resist the chance to give players the opportunity to get inside the head of real dogs Focus have trained - and designed all of the characters around real life case studies.

The party took on enemies based around the biggest challenges for spicy dogs - including squirrels, traffic and the final boss - “Don’t Worry He’s Friendly!” - an off-lead, hybrid mutt with absolutely no recall or training.
